The returnee incentive program is a great way to for you to:

  • Stay engaged in international education

  • Share your experiences with prospective IPE students

  • Connect with other IPE alumni

  • Earn points towards prizes

Examples of point earning activities:

  • Volunteer as an alumni participant for upcoming pre-departure orientation sessions = 50 pts

  • Organize a study abroad presentation for a student organization/class = 25 pts

  • Submit a short video reflection on experience to be used on our website, M-Compass pages, and/or social media = 15 pts

  • Submit your photos from abroad to the IPE Photo Contest = 15 pts

  • Many other activities! (all options are viewable on the Canvas course under ‘Assignments’)

Prize Structure

IPE staff will enter participation points as ‘grades’ in this course. Prizes are awarded at the end of the semester according to final point totals.

  • Level 1 Prize: 10-45 points (Example prize: IPE Alumni T-shirt)

  • Level 2 Prize: 50-95 points (Example prize: Blue Bucks gift certificate)

  • Grand Prize: 100+ points (Example prize: M-Den gift certificate)
