Tiffany Komon

International Programs Coordinator/Advisor

As the International Programs Advisor/Coordinator, Tiffany assists engineering students in successfully identifying and participating in education abroad. Tiffany is strongly committed to helping dismantle barriers to studying abroad so that all students can gain international experience.

Tiffany holds a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she majored in Asian Regional Studies and minored in Korean. Currently, Tiffany is completing her M.A. in Higher Education here at the University of Michigan. 

Prior to joining the IPE team, Tiffany worked as a peer advisor and assistant at the Georgetown University Office of Global Education, aiding undergraduate students in the study abroad application process. 

Tiffany’s initial love for travel was inspired by high school exchange trips to France and Spain. Ultimately, Tiffany decided to pursue a career in international education after spending a year as an undergraduate in Seoul, South Korea. Now, Tiffany is ecstatic that she can help students achieve their educational goals abroad with IPE.
